Mental health

Feel more like yourself again.

Start with a private check-in and a real clinical conversation. We look at what you’re experiencing, how it is affecting daily life, and what kind of care may be appropriate.

Mental health care should begin with the person — not a medication list.

Availability varies by state and clinician eligibility.

  • Private and confidential
  • Licensed clinician review
  • Online visits
  • Ongoing follow-up

Not for emergencies. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911. In the U.S., call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

Mental health isn’t separate from the rest of your health.

Mood, sleep, medications, hormones, thyroid function, metabolism, physical health, and life stress can overlap. Your clinician considers the full picture without assuming one symptom has one cause.

  • Symptoms and History

Review what you’re experiencing, how long it has been happening, and how it affects everyday life.

  • Labs When Appropriate

Some symptoms may warrant physical-health evaluation or laboratory testing. Testing is ordered only when clinically appropriate.

  • Treatment or Referral

Your clinician recommends an appropriate next step, which may include ongoing care, medication management, additional evaluation, or referral.

Laboratory testing does not diagnose anxiety or depression — it can help rule physical contributors in or out when clinically appropriate.

How it works

Four steps. No automatic prescriptions.

  1. 01

    Private Check-In

Tell us what has been changing and what kind of help you are looking for.

  2. 02

    Clinician Evaluation

Meet with a licensed clinician who reviews your symptoms, history, medications, and relevant health factors.

  3. 03

    Personalized Next Step

Receive a plan based on the evaluation. Prescriptions are never automatic or guaranteed.

  4. 04

    Ongoing Follow-Up

When ongoing online care is appropriate, follow-up stays connected to the same clinical record.

Honest scope

What online care can — and can’t — do.

Many common concerns — persistent worry, low mood, stress, burnout, sleep-related concerns — may be evaluated online with a licensed clinician.

Sometimes another level of care is the better fit: an in-person specialist, a therapist, a psychiatrist, or emergency services. If that’s the case, your clinician will say so directly and help you get there — with your records, so you don’t start over.

Availability varies by state and clinician eligibility. Availability can also depend on age, condition, and severity.

The check-in is not a diagnosis

The online check-in helps route you to the right conversation — it is not a diagnostic test, and completing it does not guarantee treatment or a prescription. Every decision is made by a licensed clinician after a real evaluation.

Mental health FAQs

Fair questions. Straight answers.

Is online mental-health care appropriate for everyone?

No. Online care can be a good fit for many common concerns — anxiety, low mood, stress, burnout, sleep-related concerns — but some situations call for in-person care, a psychiatrist, a therapist, or emergency services. Your clinician will tell you directly if another level of care is more appropriate, and will help you get there.

What happens during the first visit?

You meet with a licensed clinician by video. They review what you've been experiencing, how long it has been going on, your history and medications, and relevant health factors — then talk through what an appropriate next step could look like. It is a conversation, not a quiz.

Does completing the check-in guarantee a prescription?

No. The check-in is not a diagnosis, and prescriptions are never automatic or guaranteed. Any treatment decision is made by a licensed clinician after a real evaluation.

Will laboratory testing always be required?

No. Some symptoms may warrant physical-health evaluation or laboratory testing, but testing is ordered only when clinically appropriate — never by default.

Is therapy included?

Everyday Health Co does not provide therapy or counseling. If therapy is the right next step, your clinician will say so and refer you to a trusted provider — and share your workup so you don't start from zero.

What happens if I need a specialist?

We say so on visit one. If a psychiatrist, therapist, or another specialist is a better fit, your clinician refers you out and shares relevant records so nothing falls through the cracks.

Is this service available in every state?

Availability varies by state and clinician eligibility. We'll confirm eligibility before your visit is scheduled.

What should I do during an emergency?

This service is not for emergencies. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911. In the United States, call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

How is my information protected?

Secure, encrypted systems designed for HIPAA-compliant care — encrypted at rest and in transit, never sold, never used to train third-party AI. Your check-in answers are not sent to analytics tools or placed in web addresses.

Start with a conversation.

A private check-in, then a real clinical conversation with a licensed clinician. No automatic prescriptions — just an honest next step.
